About us
Our Restaurant
We have been around longer then our name. We owned the Tommy O's in Sycamore for 3 years and added a second location here in DeKalb. We then decided to focus more on one store to better serve our guests and to expand our own family so we sold our Sycamore location. In November of 2009 we purchased yet another location, our current and final home, 831 S. 4th St. We moved over here to better accomodate our great guests. Our new location now had parking, a larger dining area, and lots more natural light. We are dedicated to not only providing you with the best quality food, but to also provide you with an entertaining enviornment and loving atmosphere.

Here are a few stories done about us.
Ellen
Ellen is a music major at NIU. She plays the harp. Ellen is one of our most bubbly waitress and her favorite word is "Awesome!". We can pretty much guarantee her to say it to you if she waits on you.
Jerri
One of our newest family memebers, Jerri is going to the new high school in DeKalb. She wants to be an interior designer. She has many funny stories, but scared her family will disown her she will not share. Jerri just joined us in October of 2011. WELCOME!
Karen
Friendly and very smilely, Karen is studing early childhood developement at NIU. She loves playing volleyball, but likes all sports.
Karen has been with us for almost a year.
Meet the family
Me/Scott. I also started my food career with McDonalds. I am the one behind all the odd and creative marketing. I can normally be found at least 5 days a week here as well, if not running around, then I can be found at my computer working on our next promotion, or playing No Limit Texas Hold'em, just don't tell Maria!! My pride and joy is our little girl..
Maria the "Big Boss" is now here in DeKalb since the sale of our other location in Sycamore. Glad to be here, she started her food career in McDonalds, she also has a degree in Marketing and Business Management from UIC. You'll see Maria here at least 5 days a week and once you get her talking, good luck trying to shut her up!! Maria loves spending time with her little bundle of love, Alexus, she is also fortunate enough to be married to a great guy.....
Alexus, the one we do all this for. She is five years old, and has soooo much energy, she makes us feel old. She loves coming to work before school, watching Mickey Mouse and eating here at her favorite restaurant. When she gets done, she loves to help out mommy and daddy cleaning tables or bringing cream, or oatmeal or grits to our guests. Alexus also loves Great America and the BIG roller coasters.
Her favorite ride is the Demon.
Stephanie, is a newbie to our Flippin Eggs family. Stephanie has a little girl, Annabelle, who is a year old, and her little bundle of joy!
Lauren
Jesse Has been a waitress for us for about a year. She loves role playing games, especially D&D. She is attending NIU for paleontology and wants to study trilobites when she is done. She is more into her paleontology than I think anything else. If you were to bring anything up about paleontoogy, trilobites, or rocks, her eyes light up like a deer in headlights!! Just ask her next time you see her!!
